A book cover with a grungy edge — literally! It’s cut from the roughest part of the hide with a little of its ragged edge thrown in, for that perfect touch of imperfection.

Made from soft, moisture resistant upholstery leather in various colors. The cover is unlined with sewn-in retaining pockets to hold your journal or sketchbook in place. The edges are left unfinished. Seams are saddle stitched with heavy waxed nylon thread, heavier than what most sewing machines can handle. Saddle stitching is more resilient to wear and tear than a lock-stitch (the stitch produced by a sewing machine) because it will not unravel if the thread breaks or wears through in one spot. The cover is girded with durable latigo lace.

The stated size refers to the size of book the cover was made to fit. It is refillable with any 5″x 7″ or B6 sized journal, sketchbook, or notebook. It comes with a wire bound lined 5″x7″ journal (refill) with 80 sheets of paper and Kraft cardstock cover.
