Description

Includes 12 blank leather pendants cut from 5-6 oz. vegetable tanned tooling leather, 12 jump rings, and a bundle of various cords for necklaces. This is an easy project for kids and beginners. You can stamp, carve, dye, paint, antique and/or stain the pendants, or fasten ornaments, charms, beads, stones, studs, or other types of media onto them. The kit includes an information sheet with ideas and instructions.

Other tools and materials are required to complete the pendant necklaces, such as:

• Stamping/carving tools (if you wish to do any stamping or carving on the leather)
• Other hand tools may be helpful, such as hole punches or needle nose pliers
• Ornamental embellishments or cabochon stones may also be used for decorating leather pendants
• Leather dyes, paints, stains and/or leather finishes, with paint brushes or other applicators

• Pre-cut blank pendants cut from vegetable tanned leather from various tanneries
• Plated metal jump rings to mount the pendants on the necklace cords
• Bundle of various cords to make necklaces, including one or more of the following:
  • braided cords in various weights and colors
