Refund and Returns Policy

Money Back Guarantee

All physical items from Tallgrass Leatherworks come with a 100% money back guarantee. If you don’t love what you purchased from my shop, for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of delivery of your purchase for a full refund or credit towards an exchange, including delivery and return shipping fees. When you buy from my shop, you do so completely risk free.

Eligibility

All physical items in my shop are eligible for return or exchange, under one condition: your item must be returned in its original condition.

Downloadable digital publications or online videos are not eligible for a refund, since they cannot really be returned. In that case, I can offer you a shop credit equal in value to what you purchased, to compensate for your dissatisfaction. This shop credit would be good towards anything in the shop.

Starting a return

To start your return, just Contact Kate to request the return. It makes it easier to expedite your return if you include your order number. I would appreciate knowing why you were dissatisfied with what you purchased. This would provide me with useful feedback to improve my work. But this is a no-questions-asked return policy, and I will accept returns regardless of a customer’s reason for wanting to return it.

I will assist you by return email to and provide you with a quick, easy process to return or exchange your purchase, which will include a return shipping label you can print and place on your package.

There are certain situations where a full refund or credit towards an exchange cannot be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts. In this case, I may be able to offer a partial refund or shop credit.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the status of your refund or exchange.

If your return is approved, it will usually be processed the same day, unless you requested an exchange for something that is currently out of stock. In that case, I’d need a little more time to make the item you are exchanging for.

For refunds, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Note that some banks may take a few days to post the refund to your bank account, so please allow 7 days for the transaction to be completed before submitting a help request in regards to your refund.

Late or missing refunds

If your refund has not arrived in your bank account or credit card balance after 7 days of the refund being issued, please first contact your bank or credit card company, since the delay or error is most likely within their sphere of control at that point.
